Being rewarded for hard work, talent, dedication, devotion and other important attributes is an important part of our program.

This page is a tribute to all who have earned awards from our band program.

The band boosters hosts an awards night every spring to honor students that have achieved excellence in band. Check the calendar for the next awards night.

Senior families are invited to put together a shadow box of their senior's band achievements. Shadow boxes are displayed during the awards ceremony. For more information on shadow boxes, click here.

Varsity Letter

Four Semesters of band are required to receive your varsity letter.

Director's Award

Leonard Bernstein Award

This award will honor students whose musical contributions, dedication, and creativity set them apart as deserving of the highest recognition for their achievements.

Louis Armstrong Award

The Louis Armstrong Award is the "top senior jazz award" or highest level interscholastic award given to students at high schools in the United States. It is given in recognition of "outstanding musical achievement and an incredible dedication to the program".

Semper Fidelis Award

The worthy recipients of the Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence are those individuals that embrace the qualities of self-discipline, reliability, dedication, leadership, talent and the ability and willingness to work within a team environment.

John Phllip Sousa Award

The award recognizes superior musicianship, dependability, loyalty, and cooperation.
